I baked and sold chocolate chip cookies to the Leverett House Grill my junior and senior year.
Do you think that Harvard has prepared you for a career in food and wine or hospitality in general? If so, how?
Harvard gave me confidence to just TRY things. I tried so many things while at Harvard that I didn’t really shine in (acappela singing, Russian studies, hip hop dancing, crew, it’s a crazy list of things I have little to no skill in)….and that was okay because it was just great to be able to try them.
What work do you do now?
I own Flour Bakery + Cafe and Myers+Chang with my husband and business partner.
