I received my MBA from Harvard Business School.
Were you involved with any food or wine activities while a student?
I was the Co-President of the Wine & Cuisine Society and we organized about 30 events including tastings with Shafer, Opus One, and Cakebread. Twice, I helped to organize a tour of Napa during WesTrek.
Do you think that Harvard has prepared you for a career in food and wine or hospitality in general? If so, how?
Yes, it was a good way to make contacts in the industry and help understand the needs of the luxury consumer. I also enjoyed showing many people the joy and experience of wine while at school.
What work do you do now?
I have worked for the E&J Gallo Winery my entire career, including tours in Asia & Europe. I am currently Vice President, General Manager Asia/Pacific.
